These are some of the photos showing the condition KB Home left my house in. After I completed the survey, they stopped helping me. No one is resolving anything anymore. On the day of my closing, they didn’t even have my CO (Certificate of Occupancy) ready. The house still had a lot of things left to be done. The finishing details were done very poorly. And now, after the 30-day period has passed, no one is helping me fix the remaining issues. If I have one piece of advice for you, it’s this: Do not buy your home with them!

We’ve been waiting for the pool and club house to open, and each time we’re given a date, it ends up being pushed back further. There’s always an excuse and always “we’re doing everything we can.” Now we’re heading into another summer without the use of the pool and clubhouse. Mostly recently we were told mid April, now once again it’s been pushed off to May. I’m sure it’ll be another year before we’re allowed to use the an amenities. But they will keep building new home and start the town homes with the promise to new buys of the pool/clubhouse.

We signed the paperwork in March, and closed in October. They told us the clubhouse would be finish by time our house was ready, but apparently people who have lived here for 2+ years, were told the same thing. This is FALSE ADVERTISEMENT! Besides that, we had so many issues when building. We saw mold (from when the house was just wood and it rained), told them, and the next day it was covered with drywall and told us they "fixed it". We dealt with so many people, that we had to go up the chain of employees at one point because no one was giving us the time of day. We haven't had working street lights since October, and today is the last day in January... Cmon guys. What are our CDD/HOA going to then! I could go on and on with bad experiences. Yes, the layout is nice, but will never purchase a KB home again.

As a first time home buyer, I would not recommend KB Homes to anyone. The sales team made us feel so excited and taken care of during the buying process, but the reality of the building quality and management leaves a lot to be desired.
Kb uses a lot of subcontractors resulting in low quality, rushed finishing that had to be corrected multiple times. I would highly recommend having a third party inspection prior to closing because KB will try to brush off many issues. We found out our roof had severe hail damage prior to closing, and after sharing our third party inspection report, KB fortunately replaced the roof. If we hadn’t done the third party inspiration, we would have most certainly been bushed off.
Poor and uncaring management of CDD and HOA (who are the exact same people) left our community looking run down and our promised amenities being withheld. We have had broken street lights with hanging wires since hurricane Milton back in October 2024 with no repair date in sight. The amenity center is constantly being delayed to open, when sales center told us it should be up by the time we closed (back in 2023). Meanwhile, KB keeps expanding the community and now is building townhomes while current homeowners’ concerns are being ignored. CDD fees keep rising while we are getting none of the promised amenities or even basic maintenance.
If you want the constant frustration of an over-expanding community with false hope of improvement, broken promises of amenities, and lack of concern for safety, this is the community for you.

The clubhouse is a selling point for the community...and yet it's a prop that has been built but unfinished for two years. They have lawn chairs next to the pool to make it look like it's in use, but it's not. This clubhouse has been "Coming Soon" for years.
The wiring in the homes themselves is also faulty. The wall our fridge was built on conveniently blew after the house warranty expired and the electrician walked in and knew what the problem was within two seconds, saying it was common in this neighborhood...for homes after they turn 2 years old.
Parking on the street is excessive and it's everyone else's problem...except the company that built narrow streets to maximize the amount of homes in the community.
The garage that is a "two car garage", is only a two car garage if you want nothing else stored in there.
KB Homes will do everything possible to get you in the home...but once you've bought it, they care nothing for you or the mess they left behind in the community for you to deal with, regardless of the promises they made to seal the deal along the way.
