Building with MI Homes was a terrible experience! First it took them 3 months longer to build our townhome then they promised it would. Then we argued with them for a month that the refrigerator was supposed to be included in our purchase. We finally got the lady at the Title company to read our contract with MI Homes. She called them while we were signing our closing docs and told them the refrigerator was included. They finally agreed it was included. They tried to deliver it 5 days after we moved in, but we had already bought one. Now we have lived here for 4 months and they still haven't created back our money for it. We have talked to 4 different people at MI and all said they would take care of it but nothing has happened.

Smooth closing and time at the design center. MI homes is the A builder, they make the process smooth and easy by doing everything right the first time around. Save yourself the stress of dealing with resale real estate when you can buy new and take advantage of the incentives.

Untrustworthy builder ever in the Orlando area, they did a terrible job specially with the HVAC and they didn’t respond under the warranty to fix their design errors. Their contractor Mills Air are as bad as them, their manager’s are a joke.

I was thrilled to own a beautiful MI home but their choice of HOA management (Rizzetta) has this place looking terrible with dying grass and trees, and weeds and cracked sidewalks everywhere. They don’t respond to emails and when you do talk to someone they are horribly rude. I would have hoped that 2 years after living in an MI Community I would still be proud to show it off.

One of the worse customer service experiences I've had. In my opinion, the use of inexpensive contractors and the lack of care from some of their associates caused us to have issues from beginning to end and now while under warranty. I would not recommend using them for something as precious as your new home.
